SNOWFLAKES

In order to understand the structure of MUTATOR28 it is important to understand what a snowflake is in this context.

A MUTATOR28 snowflake is made up of several red, green, and blue lines. When added together these lines turn white, this accounts for the appearance of gradients within the MUTATOR28 snowflake image. The MUTATOR28 snowflake is drawn in MAX/MSP/Jitter using a Turtle graphics paradigm. In the image below, one of the limbs of the MUTATOR28 snowflake was created with a Turtle and then echoed in the opposing corners. Because of this there will always be a 4-way symetrical pattern created by MUTATOR28.
